CORE VALUES

Outside The Walls is building Kingdom Community through the following Values:

Atmosphere Changers

Jesus changes the atmosphere of our lives when His Spirit resides in us and through Him we have the power to change the atmosphere of our communities. We can change the atmosphere by making His Kingdom tangible to the world around us!

(1 Pet. 2:9-15, Lk. 11:33-36, Mt. 5:14-16, 28:18-20, Phil. 2:1-4).

BREAKING DOWN THE WALLS BETWEEN ME, WE, AND THEE

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, to demolish strongholds, and bring down all the walls that separate us from God. When we trust Jesus as our Lord and Savior we become new in Christ, and now belong to His Kingdom. We are also born into a family of believers. OTW desires to help facilitate these connections and we believe that through the mighty work of the Holy Spirit walls will come crashing down.

- (Gal. 3:26-29, Eph. 2:13-18, Mic. 2:13, Jn. 3:16-21, Jn. 4:39-42)

THRIVING IN COMMUNITY

In community with other believers we not only come to know Christ more fully, but we come to know who we are in Him. In community we are emboldened, redirected, convicted, and encouraged to keep pressing into Christ. We believe the church plays an integral and active part in a believer’s spiritual walk.

- (Heb. 12:1-2, Acts 4:32-35, 1 Cor. 1:10, Col. 3:13-14, Jn. 17:23, Ps. 133:1)

Reminding Others Of Their Identity In Christ

In a Kingdom Community we set the standard for how to love well. Jesus said they will know you are My disciples by the way you love one another. A Kingdom Community is a culture of honor. We honor one another by reminding each other who you are and Whose you are.

- (1 Pet. 2:9-10, 1 Cor. 12:12-19, Gal. 3:26-29, 1 John 1:1-3, Col. 3:1-13, 1 Thess. 5:11, Heb. 10:23-25, Eph. 4:29, Jn. 13:35)

Fighting The Good Fight Of Faith Together

Outside The Walls is not here to build church attendance but to equip the saints to fight the good fight of faith with the strength and courage of the Holy Spirit. But this fight was never meant to be fought alone, we were meant to follow Jesus (our Captain) as we march in victory together.

- (1 Cor. 15:58, Deut. 31:6-8, Jn. 14:27, Isa. 41:10-13, 1 Cor. 16:13)

This Is Happening Now

We are not waiting for our circumstances to improve, to become more educated, less awkward, or for our performance to improve. We are building a Kingdom Community NOW.

- (Lk. 17:20-21, Jn. 3:3-9, Eph. 1:3-14, 2:19-21, Mt. 6:33, 16:19, Rom. 14:17)
