POINTS:

• The Armor of God: Appropriating the benefits and privileges of the gospel.

• The Armor of God = Obedience

• Obedience: Submitting your will to God and no longer trusting in or relying on your own understanding.

• Is God your Boss or your Commanding Officer? One you agree with the other you obey.

• We can tell what we believe about God by what we do and why we do it.

• If we are selective in our obedience to God we are disobedient.

• Servant vs. Volunteer. One sees God as their Commanding Officer, the other as their Boss.

• If we are delayed in our obedience we are disobedient.

• In our obedience, we are protected from evil’s arsenal.

• In our obedience, we are blessed and so are our children.

• In our obedience, we are healed and so is the community around us.

• Obedience is the constant practice of surrender.
