• Spiritual Orphans: to live with a sense of abandonment, loneliness, alienation, and isolation, and to be driven by an endless search for significance.

• We are all spiritual orphans until we come into a familial relationship with our Everlasting Father.

• Steps to making His adoption story our adoption story:

• We must acknowledge that we are orphans outside of Christ and that Jesus is God.

• We must ask Jesus to be our new Daddy.

• We must realize that we are born into a new family, which includes certain rights and responsibilities.

• Jesus wants us to relate to Him as Everlasting Father, not as a student trying to get their work turned in on time.

• The family of God is always moving, strengthening, pruning, refreshing, and cooling. It is also linked regardless of where it is.
