• Third Heaven: The very presence of God (Paradise)

• Paul was given an intimate and personal revelation of God’s love that he was not allowed to tell others about.

• Has your understanding of God's love transformed from a general concept to a specific reality?

• You can’t climb the mountain of God’s love without facing your burdens and shame.

• Paul had a daily reminder of his weakness and complete dependence on God.

• Experiencing Heaven without the thorn, or the thorn without Heaven is profoundly dangerous.

• Paul was given a thorn to keep him humble and a heaven experience to keep him anchored in hope.

• There are two messages we can listen to in a thorn - one will be from Satan and one will be from God. Which message are you listening to?

• Jesus carried our thorns so that can have heaven, and therefore hope, in our thorn experiences.
