POINTS:

• Jesus in the flesh gives us joy in the hope we have through His sacrifice and resurrection.

• Jesus in the Flesh gives us joy through His Identification and example for us.

• Jesus was fully God yet also fully human.

• Jesus calls us to be holy as He is Holy, by taking up our cross AND FOLLOWING Him.

• Jesus in the Flesh gives us Joy in embracing our humanity despite our flaws, as He walked in it with us and will rescue us from it.

• Jesus was a “man of sorrows, acquainted with sorrow.”
