POINTS:
Armor of God: Appropriating the benefits and privileges of the gospel.
Faith is a fight!
The shield of faith is given to us to protect as we storm the enemy’s stronghold.
We must take up this piece of armor when the flaming arrows of the evil one are flying.
Biblical faith means to act on the truth of God.
Faith is formed in fire.
Satan may have plans for the fire he is sending your way, but so does God - Whose plans are you going to participate with?
Our participation in God’s plans brings about His anointing over our lives.
Anointing comes from the process of pressing.
Fire in God’s hands will press us.
Anointing will always require our faith to stand in the fire.
On a grapevine, it is the branches that display the fruit, not the vine.
Pruning can feel like punishment.
Self-pity crushes instead of presses.
God will always use what is meant to burn you up, to bring you up!
God will leave a remnant in the ashes to give rise to the next season's fruit.
The value of grapes increases when they are pressed underfoot.
